Crustai was the second planet of the Crustai system in the Unknown Region. It was part of the Chiss Ascendancy.
History:
The planet was discovered by the Chiss some time before 27 BBY, and selected as a site for the establishment of a colony. The name was given by the survey team, and was an acronym in Cheunh, although what it meant is not known. By 27 BBY, the system was home to some scout teams, and also to the asteroid headquarters of the frontier patrol unit known as Picket Force Two under Commander Mitth'raw'nuruodo.
Fifty years later, in 22 ABY, it was at Crustai that Dean Jinzler, Luke Skywalker, Mara Jade Skywalker, and the so-called Geroon Remnant joined Chaf Envoy for its fateful trip into The Redoubt.
