Lorell Raiders
The Lorell Raiders, or Hapan Pirates as they came to be called, were a group of pirates who colonized the Hapes Cluster some time before 4,000 BBY, whence originated the sub-species of Hapan Humans.
They learned of safe routes through the hazardous Transitory Mists barrier that surrounded the Cluster and took refuge there along with a number of abductees. Many of the raiders were killed around 4,030 BBY when they ventured out and were defeated by Republic forces led by the Jedi under Arca Jeth, prompting the transition to a matriarchal society amongst the Hapans and a deep rooted hatred of Jedi.
