Andalia was a planet located in the Andalia system of the Hapes Cluster.

History:
Located along the Lorell Route in the Lorelli Reach, Andalia was discovered during the Great Manifest Period and largely controlled by the Lorell Raiders. It wasn't until 4,050 BBY that the Jedi Order intervened on behalf of the Galactic Republic, who suffered raids by the Lorell pirates, and defeated the Raiders. The women of the region formed a new government and closed the borders to the newly titled Hapes Consortium.

Completely isolated for the next several centuries, Andalia had minimal trade outside the Consortium. Avoiding the Clone Wars, Senator Solipo Yeb of the Galactic Senate owned a cloak from the world which he wore to the Funeral of Padmé Amidala on Naboo in 19 BBY. Even after the rise of the Galactic Empire, Emperor Palpatine didn't attempt to annex the cluster, except for the ambush he prepared against Grand Admiral Osvald Teshik, allowing them to stay out of galactic politics until it was forced to aid the New Republic during the hunt for Warlord Zsinj and the Thrawn campaign. Attacked during the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Consortium aided the fledgling Galactic Alliance in defeating the Yuuzhan Vong and later the Confederation during the Second Galactic Civil War.

As of 137 ABY, the Consortium had managed to stay separate from Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.
