Corellian Chemical Corporation, or CorChemCo, was a subsidiary company of Chiewab Amalgamated Pharmaceuticals Company. They were a producer of industrial chemicals based in the Corellian sector.
History
In 1 ABY, the criminal Black Sun organization set up a remote base on Corellia from which they planned to steal the company's stocks of the poisonous chronamite mineral. As the company knew from past experiences that local security was heavily infiltrated with Black Sun spies, they decided to hire an independent strike team to ambush and destroy the Black Sun base, while relocating their chronamite supplies to a better guarded location.
