There has not been a lot of information to provide on the help pages due to the lack of questions that come in. most people have been able to navigate or manage them selves. but i do know this does come up and some just don't ask. so i will attempt to cover things as they come to my brain, but i do appreciate any pokes and questions about the site and Star Wars in general. so please feel free to ask me anything.
first ill put in a Q&A Q: free? A: yes its still free to you but i would like some donations to keep it going. the link for the donations is still listed on the face book group page. but, i will be putting it up here in time. its just another thing on the to do list.
Q: why doesn't the new site look as cool as the old A: i havent been able to get all of the addons for wiki in so that the colors and functions can be as cool, YET. some options just are not available with this version and others i just dont know how to work yet. im still learning as i go.
Q: can i still add articles A: oh yes, feel free, if you need help just ask. the only thing we request is to make an account for the site and log in before doing so
Q: do you keep the login and personal information private A: as long as you keep it private so will I. I did not create the Holocron to become a scam in any way for ID theft or even marketing purposes. but i have nothing against selling out to a larger body since im poor. but, i will still never sell out the information that is collected at all. i would drill a hole thru my hard drive before that happens
Q: why do you sound like your full of yourself on this A: i have no idea how i do since im paranoid about making the site as functional as possible and convenient. you will probably be more annoyed of me asking for opinions and confirmations more than boasting.
Q: is there any area of assistance you need A: tons in areas you may not think, graphic artists, marketing personal (spreading the word), programmers (not holding my breath),
Q: when will we get the left side bar menu that expands and collapses back A: as soon as the latest version of media wiki goes from beta to full release. the addon is there, but im waiting on the next built, i think it was 1.17
