Background: When you enlisted in the Imperial military, you figured you'd be with the Army for life. Although official channels denied any involvement, word of the Empire's complicity in the disaster spread pretty quickly through the Imperial grapevine. Sickened to the core of your being, you defected to the Rebel Alliance, to see that tragedy on this scale never happens again.
